FDA, OSHA and CDC to host webinar on Sept 1, 2020 to provide food producers with an update on COVID-19 and FSMA

On September 1, 2020 the FDA, together with OSHA and the CDC will be hosting a one-hour webinar for food producers to provide an update on COVID-19 measures, focusing on employee health and food safety. Space will be limited and subscription is expected to be high, so if you want to attend the (free) webinar, you should register ASAP. Registration will close on August 28 at 5:00 pm, assuming it is not already filled. Note, however, that the webinar will be recorded and posted on the FDA website, so if you don’t have questions or need for a live event, you can view the webinar later on your own schedule.

During the webinar, subject matter experts will highlight key aspects of the FDA/OSHA Employee Health and Food Safety Checklist for Human Food Operations During the COVID-19 Pandemic, discuss the CDC testing strategy and its application, and provide an update on FDA inspections.   The webinar will be recorded and posted to the FDA website.
